About
Hi, my name is Lee and I have been an artist for about 6 years. I didn’t really start painting until I was about 44 years old and so I find I’m still learning every day. I have done many things throughout my life; Training as a Plumber straight out of school, but joining the army for 3 years before I managed to finish the training. Then I ended up doing odd jobs for a number of years like working in an airport, door to door sales (which was very stressful!). I then found myself going to work in factories for ~10 years, from floppy discs to micro chips to building cars at Nissan for another 4 gruelling years. I then trained as a plasterer at the age of 34 whilst trying to raise a family and I still dabble in doing jobs from time to time, but I knew I has a creative calling and through a lot of hard work managed to create time to go and train at Edinburgh Atelier of Fine Arts.
I studied for about 2 years at the Atelier, learning how to draw and paint. I then had to try and make it as an artist and I’m still trying to this day.
I hope you will join me on my journey and if you like what I do please feel free to purchase something from me, or maybe share my work around. I would appreciate the support and hope I am able to continue doing this work for as long as I can. Every piece I make has been created with hard work and passion, as well as my love for the creative arts.
Thank you for checking out my page and my work, I hope you have a wonderful day.
